Valluvam Kanda Bharatham

“Valluvam Kanda Bharatham" is based on the Tamil Literature "Thirukkural" which is popularly known as "Ulaga Podhumarai" written by "Thiruvalluvar". Now a days, Bharathanatyam and Tamil Literature has close relationship. Based on this, Mayuri Academy of Performing Arts composed and recorded songs on the theme "Thirukkural". Thirukkural lines were incorporated in the songs to stress the importance of Tamil in Bharathanatyam. Bharathanatyam's maargam songs (ie., Pushpanjali to Thillana) were composed by MAPA and released with the association of The International Institute of Tamil Studies and VGP Ulaga Tamil Sangam. The songs were released by Lakshman Shruthi Mr. Raman, International Tamil Studies Institute , Director Mr.Vijayaraghavan on 24.02.19 at The International Institute of Tamil Studies, Taramani, Chennai.
