Our Academy Was Founded by Mrs. Neelavathi In 1970. It was just started as a dance Class, afterwards based on the admission of students in the class, It was converted into an academy for training students in dance. It was named as Mayuri Academy Of Performing Arts (MAPA) In 2003, By the Guru Kalaimamani S. Vijayalakshmi Bhoopathi. Our academy imparts bharatham training in Thanjavur Style, in its Pure and Traditional Form. The members of MAPA+

Students are from grade one to professionals. Students Learn The Language Of Gestures, Movements And Indian Mythology Along With Bharathanatyam.We are having branches all over India and online classes are available all over world

Our Academy Students Mastery has been recorded in Indian Book Of Records, Asia Book Of Records and Assist Word Records By 15 Students Dancing Continuously 30 Hrs For 1330 Thirukkural With The Title – “Valluvam Kanda Bharatham”. Students Performance  Has Also Been Recorded In Guinness World Record With The Title-“Vidhaikalam”(798 People Dancing With Sword).
